Building a content strategy around real buyer questions

Plan editorial content around audience questions, search intent, service expertise, internal routes, and measurable business decisions rather than publishing volume alone.

Start with the real job

A content strategy is a system for deciding what an organisation should explain, prove, and update. It works best when it starts with the questions people ask before they are ready to enquire, rather than a list of disconnected keywords.

Why it matters

Useful content gives buyers a way to evaluate a service before they speak to a team. It also gives search engines clear topical relationships between educational guidance, commercial services, case studies, and practical next steps.

A practical approach

Collect questions from sales calls, support conversations, search queries, and industry research. Group them into pillar topics and specific supporting questions, then assign each page an audience, intent, evidence requirement, owner, and update cycle.

What to watch

Publishing more does not automatically create authority. Avoid repeating the same answer across multiple pages; add a page when it has a distinct question and a credible contribution to make.
